I've heard about several people loosing all their gamefowl to the floods in Texas. This is all coming to the gulf eventually.

The man I got most of my birds from almost lost all of his. He's in North TX not to far from OK.

Yes sir. He's just outside of Wichita Falls. Had water 4ft high in some of his fly pens. Only a handful of birds made it.

That's bad, I hate to hear of people loosing everything like that, there is a lot of time, money, and pride tied up in most gamefowl farms. Hopefully most of them will be able to get their hands on some of the same bloodlines, but having to start all over Suks. Sdm111 had to start all over

I think the black mama hen is the instigator... 3 days ago she got into a similar fight with white hen.

I thought the hatch hen got eaten or something until I noticed the black hen was gone. I went looking for them and found them in the bushes locked onto eachother face. I threw some dirt/rocks at them and they wouldn't scatter, so I had to crawl into the thorny bushes and grab them. I took the hatch hen back to her chicks. all is good

Put a solid cock onto them to stop such shinagons.

yeah sucks real bad lost about 150 just in biddies Polly about 300 total birds but not all games. Ornamental pheasants, peafowl, California valley quail, jap quail, Grey's, hatch, and Kelso. Then I got rid of the ones that was left was so disgusted. May 1995

I actually can replace 90% of the bloodlines that I have, but I definitely wouldn't want to loose what I have here now. It could happen, a couple of dogs or coyotes could wipe me out if this electric fence fails.
