I know. I trap for fur. I hate killing them in the summer though. Problem was it was so cold this year they stayed denned up most of the season.

electric won't killem just redirect them. Unless they get caught that is. I love mine before it was like a buffet.

Spangled is what is wanted so potential for genetic markers.

Bates also bred to the other side, I have the dark side Bates hatch and one hen that came spangled but she has not produced another spangled chick yet, this is her 4th year.

My Bates, she is the only thing that has come spangled. Hope one day she'll produce another one. Then I might do like centra and go get the spangled side too.

What does the darkside look like with respect to down? Adults look like dark brown we used to have but the sinker will be with what chicks look like.

Do you have an extension cord running from your house to the fence? Does the charger take batteries? I just don't want a cord running across my yard. I don't know anything about them so I'm looking into them now.

Extension cord from an outside plug no solar just 110. U can get all fancy and run Nomex underground to a plug but an extension cord works for me it's not too long a run prolly a 75ft cord
