Penned birds have good shade. Free-range hens (birds of interest) moving from shady cover patches get warm simply walking across field. Being in lay also increases heat stress as egg production itself is quite demanding.

I have some game cocks and chicks and the cocks are very healthy but the chicks started having these bigbumps on their heads which I treated with hot line some are starting to heal but the others are getting worst the bumps have engulfed they face covering they eyes there's is also a yellowish thing in their mouth that smells of dead the bumps on they head are made up of the exact same yellow thing will post pictures tomorrow to show you guys what I mean by the way I currently live in St.Lucia

Thanks. Without all your help I would still be at the store figuring out what to get. Lol. By the way I had to redo two lines cause I forgot to put the tensioners on first. Of course.
