Letting pen-reared birds out like that yields much higher losses than realized with free-range reared. Isolation of wounded birds followed by application of bluekote easiest route. To prevent, revisit feeding regimen paying particular attention to protein level.
i don't particularly like to up the protein levels til about now. I was about a day or so behind the 8 ball. Too much protein too fast can cause bone problems without enough calcium.John,
