haha thats up to him. I gave him the two stags at first to make sure they'd survive... After the first week I went back and gave him the hen. I have plenty of stags, but short on pullets this year. So I didnt want to risk a first night massacre with her.

He can't even be in 2 x 4 wire pen. He manages to get his head about a foot out of it and will grab you by the pant leg. He's a *******.

Shubin, that brown red is my Manfighter. He even likes to peck and kick at the water as I'm pouring it into his cup. He gets mad at me when he gets splashed in the face, looks at me like I'm teasing him. Lol

Well, when I got her, she came with the mom, who is also a black hen, but with a really poor body type and feather quality imo, but this pullet has a better body and sleeker feathers. The man told me that they are all various mixes of hatch and witchdoctor. Out of a clutch from the same cock, those golds, blacks, and one grey hen came out.

The brassback stag is her brother, he died last night, and I opened his crop to see if it was something he ate, and it was full of dogfood that I don't even buy, so I think someone's poisoning the free ranged ones. I have another black stag, with red feathers popping up, but I had my heart set on the one that died.

Sdm, here's another pic of that pullet, she looks so much better than the mom.

There she is with the brothers and sisters, they weren't too healthy when I got these, but they are turning out good! That grey pullet is my favorite.
