Anyways this summer was rough on my birds and Im down to 3 cocks and 4 hens with one more setting and my grey hen is laying. Gonna be late hatches but I really need some more to replenish my stock. Any of you ever used the 18% protein feed that's made for birds in molt ? I got some to try it and they seem to like it but I can't really tell if it's made a difference or not yet.

I think I could walk in and sit down and this one would hit me, I haven't pushed my luck but that's the way he acts, yet Janet can go in there and hand feed him, give him fresh water, and pick up eggs no problem. He has a total different attitude with her. Lol he's a Kelso too, the Kelso I bred last year was gentle, very easy for me to pick up and move to another pen, but would jump all over my nephew.
