i agree. Although I wouldn't know how long it takes to breed the game out since imo that shouldn't be a goal with gamefowl anyway. I would imagine, height, weight and overall health would suffer faster. For those in it for a quick buck wouldn't care either way. The more strains of gamefowl one can own the more money that can be made. 1 cock with 6 or 7 hens and they are in business.It takes time to breed the game out when you stay within a line. More time than a typical peddler can invest is likely to be involved. The saying a bird is not game is still more likely to be an empty insult but their is more to being a good game than simply being game. It is those other qualities that require a more consistent hand to maintain.
