Ha yes it is. Posting and taping those ears upright is an absolute pain.
yours yeah my vet had these throw away cardboard triangle things that slid over the ears and taped in place. Changed every few days or so. When she's relaxed they're straight up but on alert they fold over.

My dogs are plenty fierce and look the part too. The look keeps away most, only the foolish would test them. I'm talking people not wee little possums, any pup could take care of that. Lol
I have a hound mix and a cairn terrier too. But I ain't showing todo for fear of me losing points.
Oh and cropping and docking have their uses aside from looking fierce. Better hearing. (Proven) docking (no tail to grab ahold of). If you have ever tried to get ahold of a Doberman it's not the easiest task in the world when they don't want to be handled.

Dogs challenging me are not grabbed by ears or tail. They are grabbed by legs and neck right up next to head, addressed with a club / ax or spoken to with a firearm. Points not given for dogs that look the part but otherwise only keep rug warm. They got to be out there to take out real predators.

mine are protecting the house not the yard. I don't have any neighbors in sight of my house so anyone could just pull up in my driveway and break in without a problem. Reason for the Dobermans. I'm not interested in animal aggressive dogs, just unwelcome humans.

Nice male there shubin. I would advise to start on peacomb. Big straight combs may leave you traumatized they can get a lil gruesome
