I'll take it one step further and even though I feed pellets I bet if you tested the pellets themselves the nutrient amounts and quality is probably nonexistent. I may switch away from pellets altogether.

I am no expert but I know there are some benefits to "processing" grains. Soaking and fermenting are options we talked about a while ago with some health benefits. Dont know what those benefits are specifically but I am assuming lactic acid and break down of complex carbohydrates are good for disgestive tract.I agree on nutrient quality with whole grains.
