Ok that's understandable but still I'd keep a pellet gun handie cause I heard once a dogs got a tatse of whatever's blood that it'd be constantly after the animal.. Also I'm sorry for your hen. We lost our minor blue momma our hatch hen and my young grey hen along with a variety of babies
