I have six chicks rigt now that hatched last week. three from each of my hens. One of the chicks i noticed has little white feathers growing on its legs. Now ive never heard of gamefowl with feathered legs. I looked it up on google and as i thougt it means there was some feathered leg blood in my hen? Or rooster? Somewhere back down the line. Ive read a few threads that said there was or is a line of hatch that has feathered legs but rare. A lot of otheres stated theyve had the same thing happen but everyone i read said the feathered leg gamefowl have been their ACES. I guess time will only tell for sure but has anyone else had this happen or seen, heard of it before? What should i do? Cull it? Im happy i got these birds and all. It gave me something to do and i enjoyed it.i had a feeling that longer neck hen wasnt pure gamefowl. Theres something about her that isnt right with gamefowl hens.
Could you show pics of questionable birds?
