If you were referring to the term I used of the line breeding for my Blondie birds this is the definition I go by:
Linebreeding is a term commonly used to describe milder forms of inbreeding. Typically it involves arranging matings so that one or more relatives occur more than once in a pedigree, while avoiding close inbreeding.
I deal more in human genome's than I to do with roosters I was just having fun Breeding my birds

Reference not to you, rather the fluff brothers. You appear to be into the games with a broader range of interest which is good, very good. Line-breeding to me not inbreeding in that it does not generally result in the loss or concentration of alleles relative to what is supplied by birds you are breeding back to. The inbreeding part that can be detrimental occurs when line is reset at time the birds being bred back to are removed from the breeding program. Their offspring carried forward may not carry all the alleles you want that were in the original birds bred back to. Over time that results in a need to refresh as that is a mechanism where lost alleles or similar quality alternatives can be introduced. You do employ the inbreeding concept while trying to remove the unwanted alleles that may have come from the original bird mated to the one bred back to.
