i sure miss having a field full of stags when it was cool , i guess when you could shook a man or a women and it meant something , now a days it`s just a way to take or steal your friendship or your freedom .....................mike fis.

He is lame flypen he sleeps on the ground he can barely walk

The foot issue may be secondary problem. Pale face not something i associate with bumble foot unless infection gone systemic. Eating not consistent with that.

I would cull if related to roost hieght. Bumble action i have dealt with not caused directly by mechanical stress.

yeah ccentra I'm not sure what the problem is his foot is swollen but he does not have the stab like a normal bumble foot he has a very good appetite i would just cull him but he is all i have of his breed pure hennie well i do have one son i would really like to try to save this bird just to breed if at all possible his face was red this morning I've been giving him antibiotics....

I don't think chivalry has died yet. I have a yard full of stags and have experienced nothing but respect from every buyer. I've even had a couple gangster types come to buy and they were some of the most honest and appreciative. But then again I am young and optimistic. The only disrespect I see is from the older guys who bash each other on this thread, even though they are all basically trying to say the same thing.

i think your right Central i think the problem is higher up but the foot is a problem to he can walk when he needs to i think what might of happened was when i got him he was thin from the pr eves owner so i put him on a tie cord and i remeber one of my stags going over and fighting with him so that could of coursed some damage this bird has just come under my control 2 days ago and seems to be getting better with the antibiotics his face turnes bright red at times and he can walk when he wants to but looks like an old man walking so if its an injury i guess i can deal with that if its say mareks ill have to cull him i hope its not mareks what do you think if your on face book p.m me i have videos on there of him walking....
