Damb fly pen I'm down here saying finely didn't rain today I think we had a stretch of over 30 days straight I no them Cali folks are with you...

Would love some rain, thought it was overcast with a chance yesterday while I was at work.....nope the smoke just got worse.

It's canker ...... meds for it #1- Ronidazole(ronnivet-s) in water for 7 days / (i would think 'fresh mix each day') .

I would (First) clean out all the yellow canker(don't throw on ground/ dispose of it properly/burn) and apply an Oral Antiseptic liquid each day from drug store for sore mouth canker .
Also i would feed a soft wet mix food to him each day (using some of the extra fresh Ronidazole mixed water for wet mix food)

Clean his water , feed bowls ... don't put other birds in w/him or in contact w/him .

Fishzole / Fishmox / metronidazole is also good(3 names for it) .

can I get these meds at the feed store...

A place like Tractor Supply or Co-op might have Ronidazole(Ronnivet-s) (you could check at all feed stores) plus the pet stores would carry the fish mox for aquarian fish (it's worth a shot) .

If not google it and usually any vet supply place can ship fast (like Jeffers & others)

RIP little Blue,

Found him deceased in the feed barrel.. apparently he jumped in and couldn't get out. Heat was probably the killer.
