Yall, I got a roster coming out of the molt, and his feathers ain't straight around his hackles. They curl and back like nike checks, lmao.
I wish I had a pic at the moment, but when the feathers grow in curling up, don't that mean he's getting too much protien?

I have a few blue leg pullets that seem to be very mean. They allready bit on to the feathers of this little stag i uave and she tries to spur the hell out of him. the blue leg pullets are very nice looking birds. Great station and pretty darn aggressive as well. I am thinking the gamefowl i have now are great but i would like to find a pure blue stag or pullet and a pure grey stag. anyone who has blue gamefowl send me a private message and let me know your prices. i am wanting to get these in a few weeks here.

whatever happened to the hen beating on the stag?

I moved the stag back into his own pen. I didnt want to take the risk with him...

I think I may move the Modern Hen into the smaller pen and give the stag the aviary. Let him have the room to exercise properly.

I have this 2015 pullet in the aviary too, she would pair up nicely with the white stag.

Looks like he came dark with no white or very little white.

very dark like when i got them but i do rember on the yard of the old man i got them from he had 2 stags that where very spangled and i no those weren't the Narragansetts....
