I got a miner stag that needs trimmed real soon. His comb is hanging down close to his eye and there is a small point that is starting to touch his eye and I noticed him scratching his face cause of it. He's about 6 1/2 months but it's gotta be done.

Flypen, I haven't seen the name Typewriters in a long time! There was a person on Ebay that had some eggs listed I think last year. Do you know of any good families still around?

Keep the wind off of them, feed them plenty and the hardest part make sure they have water not ice. They need to be hydrated to stay warm. Other than that it ain't that bad in SC you'll be fine.

I have one contact for a pure pair this spring. My brother had them pure but the coyotes cleaned out his brood fowl one night. Ed Cavahos has them, the farm is Longscore gamefarm, he has mixed hatch blood with them now and there is a guy here in central Louisiana that has them, he has added whitehackle blood to his. As far as PURE Typewriters they are just about gone.
