Ok thanks... I asked because most I have seen are yellow legged including the ones gifted to me recently.

but the very first white spanish hens I got several years ago had blue legs, I didnt realize at the time that the "normal" was yellow. So I have been pondering their purity. Good to know dark legs do exist in Spanish.
I don't know if it is correct or not, it is just what I was told. I wanted something darker as that is what I had in my miniature blues.

Thanks SDM, I will keep it in mind! Do you know if there is a typical leg color for Spanish? I was surprised to find the darker leg single comb birds. The one's I have are solid little birds.

actually I don't know what all he was I know he had whitehackle in him. I got about 10 of them as chicks to bring up for shows. I had them till about a year old
I don't even remember how his siblings looked

all's I know is they compact and fast fast that's all lol any technical info I'd have to refer you to his owners

lol, that's what I hear too. I just can't envision dubbing one of those big fleshy combs. Seems like it would be a bloody mess, but they look clean when dubbed.
