people make their own mres out of vacuum sealing so I guess it'll work for feed.
I haven't read into it in detail so I don't know the do's and don't about mre making just that its done
I only need to to last about 8mo I could use it at the end of hurricane season each year

I'm not a prepper or anything close to it. Imo all you need is to be tougher than the next guy lol. If the sh*t really hit the fan. Just about everybody is screwed. I just have a pretty good stock of cigars to watch the sh*tshow go down, oh and coffee. I prefer it in a perculator anyway.

So I had a strange thing happen today. I was working outside and had some birds out running around. It was about 11am and all of a sudden the birds exploded into the air. They were only about 30 feet from me, but there was plenty of brush between us. They were up in the trees and scattering everywhere. I went running over, but didn't see anything, just the weeds and brush moving as something left the area. It wasn't until this afternoon that I made the rounds and called all the birds down from the trees. While making the rounds, I found a pile of feathers and a gizzard from a nice little stag, that's it. My assumption is that it may have been a fox or coyote that came in that close, but I saw nothing... Any ideas?

One thing to remember is fox are goofy. If you ever shoot at one and miss. 95% of the time they will stop and look back before taking off again especially in the open.
Not that I ever connected on the second shot but it's there for the taking.
