I took a bunch of things for granted back in the day. I went to stay with my sister in ky for a couple yrs and let me tell ya I really missed it all when I couldn't go and do. Since I moved back I used to live to work now I work to live there's so much out there but we all get caught up in the fast lane and we gotta stop now and then and enjoy instead of always go, go, go. At least that's how I feel

I agree 100%. That's why I'm going to WV by myself. Can't get anyone interested in my kind of camping and fishing, screw it I'll go by myself.
When U go to that fly shop buy me one of those redfish tailer hats. I'll pay u. It would be cheesy if I bought it myself online. lol this way I can wear it and still say I got from Louisiana.

Yeah expect now it's bow and muzzle loader season maybe I'll just fish until rifle season.

only real hunting I do is once a year my brother in law and I go on a guided duck hunt in the duck mecca delacroix la. lm about 1/4mile from big branch national wildlife refuge I think 80,000 acres (mostly marsh ) hunting and fishing is permitted bow, steel shot, and .22 &.17 only

Just fish, turkey, and whitetail for me as a family we like to keep two big freezers full of meat.
