I won't breed to satisfy the opinion of a judge so best for me just to stay out of it. Was just wondering why centras wouldn't qualify, I see now

It's like looking for the most perfect orange going by a picture of a lemon, instead just get lemons instead of degrading oranges

The color difference is subtle but you can see when a lemon hackle bird is next to a solid red. Mine fall between like most lemon hackled games. Some of this I have no problem linking to judges being too much into the bred for show Old English Bantams.

Crazy Physical and Mental tests. I like the way you said that lol... thank you @centrarchid But I think you may be giving me credit where I dont deserve. My tests are very undefined and rudimentary.

Still trying to figure out some good "New Opportunities for Gamefowl" which is now seems to be a stagnant thread. Need to finish my High Fly apparatus for 2nd round of testing. And build another tug-o-war apparatus (not out of PVC this time lol)

Can someone recommend a good pair of curved sharp dubbing shears? I tried a new pair from eBay tonight and after dubbing one bird I threw them in the trash. My wife's sewing scissors would have been better.

Go to Walmart and buy fiskars leather trimming shears. About $15 -$20.
