I'd imagine it's gonna take a while for her to recover but looks to be on her way.
There's 2 what I would call real feed stores I go to. One is about 10min away but has our local high taxes and higher price per bag but I prefer their feed. Or I go to Mississippi for half the taxes and cheaper per bag price but less quality feed.
What kind of chicken is she?

She is a LF EE, the smaller of the 2. My hubby wanted to make sure we only ended up with hens so I had to choose a layer breed... he has decided since getting them he really likes blue eggs, and he is okay with me getting a couple more pullets... so the next 2 birds, one will have to be an EE (hubby wants another blue egg layer) but I hope to add something different as the fourth.

Here's a picture of her flock mate... the larger dominate hen.

EEs are not game fowl. I am jazzed to be able to have any kind of chicken I am okay with compromise on the breeds but I would like to try keeping bantam games or long-tails in the future. I do know I can talk him into Vietnamese Jungle Fowl as his favorite bird ever that we had in the past was a VJF. He wanted to build me a larger coop, but he is in no shape to do so... so I think I will start figuring out what to do and set $ aside, and I will need to tackle the garage to get to the tools (argh, cleaning the garage never a fun chore) his health is just too bad to help me with construction work. The coop we have now I built from a pre-made kit. My work schedule has been brutal on me physically this year so far so what I do all depends on that a lot... only so many hours in a day and only so much energy I have too. On the the 25th Vacation starts for me so I will go measure my bricked in area to see how much floor space I have to work with. So far my neurotic brick floor idea is keeping burrowing, digging, and slithering animals out, so I want to continue with the brick flooring idea.

I just went out to verify my games are not suffering a verdant green environment like shubin's birds are. As I thought temperature never exceeded 10 F today and ground is snow covered. Almost none of the birds came off the roost all day as made evident by a lack of tracks in the snow.
LOL... can't have them suffering in green pastures lol.

Green here to but frost covered... so my two are happy to roam about. I did notice though when I had the one hen inside for her spas day, she was happy to be inside a heated house so she hung out next to me and never tried to run off, just perched right on the sofa happy as could be.

Does anyone know how to sign up for sobong i have tried lots of times but I won't let me
Im on there but didn't seem like i had any issues ,,,first things first gotta have thick skin when on SABONG ,If you know GAMEFOWL you should be good ,If you talk of Feathers and and patterns ,you may not want to Post.

Its been wet, cold and windy the past 3 days.... First night rained @ 50 deg, next night was just cold 39 deg, and then last night it was 45deg with wind up to 50mph.

Not fun, but not nearly as bad as some of you have it.
