I don't think anybody here is treating aggression toward humans as gameness. You've said that like 50 times now. Nobody is doing that. I've culled a few otherwise great stags for just that. One was hard to do but I'm not dealing with them when same nest brothers are perfectly fine. A lot of pics I take a bird will show a little agression while in his pen, like pecking. Fine in hand and doesn't come after me when picking him up.I edited more than I should so will clarify. I do not want him to display to me. Displaying to me is a signal giving by a man-fighter. If man-fighting is the default interaction without something I have done to promote, then off with his head. What I think is going on is that many fanciers of games take into account looks in a way that is impacted by the bird' s behavior. A displaying bird is prettier. It is hard to separate looks in the process to select breeders. I have seen time and time again where the observer treats the aggression directed at him / her as gameness.
