In addition to the Kentucky Dom, he has golden dom (Crele) and grey dom (I think base black lacking red rather than actual silver / gray allele).

I would cull him. Skin out the cape and saddle and use it for imitating mayflies, caddisflies and midges. Of course this would be for wild fish since I don't mess with hatchery raised second rate fish that will eat pellets. Ha

So if a stag is dropping his wing and trying to push himself sideways through the wire and kicking dirt up all over when I crouch down by him is that ok.
I like to see that confidence. It just needs to end there when I reach in the pen.

How do the 4x4s hold up in extreme snow conditions. I would like to start building them for the near future and they are way cheaper then building what I am building. How many birds can u keep in them. Anyone ever try black/white Polly for the tops. I get 10'x100' for like 50$. Which could do a lot.. the pens u guys are showing look bigger.

Domes do fine in the snow as long as you reinforce the top portion with conduit screwed to the inside of the base. Prevents you from having to run out in the middle of the night and knocking 2 ft of snow off em so they won't collapse. I wrap them in plastic near the base to prevent snow from piling in on them when expecting a lot.
