Black grey/mug stag. 9 degrees and my man wants to do battle with me. Obviously the cold don't affect him much.

I went through and added straw to all 51 pens. One by one as soon as the straw hits the ground they come off the roost. I hate seeing them just sitting there. Good to get em moving. I throw scratch in the straw to get em moving a little more too.
 
I rounded up about 10 pullets and stuck em in my coops but they all came out and went up to the trees except a leiper hen that's been loose for over a year. She sleeps in the coop at night when it's cold.

I got about 1/2 a bale left. Trying to use it for emergencies only. Next weekend I'll get some more
 
kids and lambs dang
I was talking with a friend the other day about Black Headed Vultures. He said they are becoming a problem around here because they go after new born calves and lambs. Seems like a learned behavior.
