I routinely pull up on the wires of the pens when they're frozen down. Sometimes it takes a lot of force and I've never busted a weld on them. I did pop a few when I was stretching the fence but I was trying to "Charles Atlas" it.

TSC has redbrand, that's also what I've been using the last few years.

Some of the TSC wire up here is flimsy.
