I have a few pine barren tree frogs around too. They're pretty rare so I try not to let the birds eat em if I can stop them. That's another pic of the gray tree frog. Their hind legs are bright yellow underneath.
I have had eggs placed in odd places as well. As a kid we kept house windows open for most the year. A pullet started coming into my bedroom and made a nest in my closet. She hatched chicks out before I new she was their the first time. Never crapped in house until chicks hatched. I had to help get brood out the window. She came in did it again later in the year where I could track the whole thing.
We have a Gray Tree Frog that staked out the watering trough at barn. Last year he sired two broods. First turned into froglets before he called a female in for a second round. Kids got a big kick out of that. Kids and I watching for next clutch of eggs which should be soon based on all the calling.
