Can't beat natural camo, lol... what area you in, havoc? I haven't seen those here, just the greens, leopard frogs and various shades of toads...

I have a few pine barren tree frogs around too. They're pretty rare so I try not to let the birds eat em if I can stop them. That's another pic of the gray tree frog. Their hind legs are bright yellow underneath.

@centrarchid I have to keep my truck windows shut now. I find eggs on the back seat and on the floor. The other day I got a few hundred yards down the road and I realized there was a pullet in the canoe in the back. Crazy birds.

I have had eggs placed in odd places as well. As a kid we kept house windows open for most the year. A pullet started coming into my bedroom and made a nest in my closet. She hatched chicks out before I new she was their the first time. Never crapped in house until chicks hatched. I had to help get brood out the window. She came in did it again later in the year where I could track the whole thing.

We have a Gray Tree Frog that staked out the watering trough at barn. Last year he sired two broods. First turned into froglets before he called a female in for a second round. Kids got a big kick out of that. Kids and I watching for next clutch of eggs which should be soon based on all the calling.

That's really cool... bet it's not easy stopping the birds though, lol...

I have a Call duck that insists on brooding her clutches in the house... doesn't poop inside either... just have to make sure the door gets open fast when she takes her breaks...

Nah I just mean if I find a frog I put up and away from the chickens. Once they get one and are on the run with it it's usually over for the frog

@flypen how'd you do?
I picked up these little two today. A couple inches of rain yesterday and windy today. Very frustrating.
