We found a small mouth tending a few thousand fry in crystal clear water. Will attempt to image wirh underwater camera shortly after dawn. We are into monster crayfish that are twice the size of lousiana crawfish.

Might take a token few. Hope to get a 5-gallon bucket full of virile crayfish and white river crswfish tuesday.

I am being stalked by a red fox. Waiting for sun to come up and whippoorwills to shut up.

Well so much for the salty flies. Must have stopped off for a haircut before chasing my hens.
Mossberg 835, Carlson coyote choke and dead coyote T shot 3 inch. 40 yd shot on the run. Bang flop.
Shubin, Mother Nature ain't so kind to your beloved predators. He's got mange pretty bad.

Yeah no kidding. He's the worst one I've seen. Didn't smell too fresh either. Cost my $5 for that shotgun shell. Lol they are worth it though. He was right on the heels of a miner hen. A
Few seconds later and it would have been too late. He got a helluva surprise.
The best part is I'm not sure this was the only one because I saw a gray fox cross my yard a few weeks back. Acted uninterested with its nose to the ground so who knows. I also find it hard to believe this mess of a fox was causing me so many problems. Time will tell I guess.
