That means it won't even make it to the water! Lol. Believe me thats happened before. Haha.
What I didn't show when I took a pic of that weakfish is how excited I was I knelt down just a wee bit too close to the breaking waves and got hammered lol.

Grand isle la. Gulf of Mexico No just went scouting. Got an idea of the lay of the land. Ima go back in a week or two with poles the start of where I want to fish is 120miles from home then 67miles thereafter so not right around the corner. That's why we went to check it out yesterday. I want to know where I'm going before. Especially since it'll be dark to start. It's just roads everywhere but water and marsh instead of hard ground hard to explain you'd have to see it its a few islands in the gulf

There's an app to save your locations called pinging or something while scouting people use here to wish I knew what it was. Flypen Prolly does I'm not that keen on all that fancy stuff
I tried to take pics but my wife thought I was going to kill us with me driving with my knee while taking pics so I let her know I I learned from her texting me during work. She quieted down after that. For the record I don't text and drive

Gotcha. Yeah when I scout out new areas I usually fish too and drive myself nuts trying to do too much at one time.
Same goes for duck hunting. Always remember to check the tides cause the boat don't go too far in the mud.
