I wish I had that problem. Brambles of any sort great for cover the free-range juveniles can retreat to. Black berries, raspberries and dew berries have added culinary value we can not take advantage of here currently. Leaves the various wild roses. The hips OK in winter but do not make good cobbler.

I looked at flight worthiness too, mainly studies on birds including chickens and what the scientists seem to have found is symmetry between the wings important and tail length. With tail length the longer the tail the more important it becomes for that tail to be properly balanced on both sides. There is breed differences too between chicken breeds on flight ability. So that is something to consider when looking at birds... I thought it would be fun to work on flight stuff one day myself.
