Anybody had, have, or have had had a monitor? Nile to be specific

Not good pets. I would not be able to contain one during summer and keeping one during inter would be expensive if animal large.

I have been researching and there's some killer cage setups. He'd have his own room. Cages roughly 3'high 8'long and 3or4' deep on a nice wood stand
