I like mallards, teal and wood ducks. Marinated in your choice of lawrys over rice or make a sandwich out of em right out in the marsh. Cooked over the infamous coffee can heater. Save your mayo packets for this.

Ha those went overboard awhile back. Tried to fish em out of the muck with no luck. Had to make it right with chocolate glazed munchkins and a new pair of sunglasses.

I keep her and her chicks in a pen at night. I let them out during the day. Usually she goes back but tonight she went up in the trees. Those chicks are too little yet. A couple more weeks and they'll be out 100% of the time until penning.

Your trees are far more conducive to that relative to mine. One thicket is too close to property boundary where we cannot defend and other trees to close to house that my wife protects.

@1cock2hens heat wave broke just after midnight here. Major lightening storm and got just under 1" of rain. Roosters crowing again. Grass shot up in height to point where we may need to mow again in less than a week.
