Are they all free range?

Just a few I haven't caught yet

Ever put your hand in a dozen huddled up chicks. They make lots of heat.
Reminds me I got 100 jap quail chicks one time I got home idk 6-7 pm left them in a big box overnight by morning maybe 15-20 were alive. Too much of their own heat took a toll. In conclusion chicks make lots of heat. Middle one could get suffocated though

I use silkies to hatch, so normally from one broody silkie I end up with 8 bantams or 5 or 6 standards. When it's 40 degrees in the garage they can't keep each other warm. Not enough of them. I don't usually sell any of my birds, unless I'm getting rid of some that I don't want anymore. Then they go to auction and end up in someone's crock pot. I hate plucking chickens.

It's cheaper to just buy a already cooked bird for $5.50 rotisserie. Yep.

Everytime I see those cooking all I can envision is the pink foamy water they soak in in the coolers the night before

Haha who knows. I always wonder just how many chickens are raised together to be able to sell them at that price already seasoned, cooked and ready to eat.
