why is that?I could see shubin running an operation like that some day.
So there must be someone with massive breeding pens somewhere with massive incubators. Were they a separate operation or did you work with them jointly/exclusively?its really easy// the chicks come in in giant crates and it takes about 30 minutes for 4 people to unload 35k (that includes one driver for the little forklift thing) literally just turn and throw the chicks down onto paper that has been run under the feed lines and covered with feed //after you put them in there you pretty much just watch for weirdness, make sure the feed bins are full, raise water lines and feed lines as they grow.. then when its time move all the fans and heaters(if an older chicken house) , raise feed lines and water lines to the ceiling and then they come in and throw them into cages, some companies use what looks like a giant vaccum cleaner to suck up chickens and cage them // then you have 2 weeks or so for vacation and to get ready for the next set of chickens
I could see you standing in a space suit. Snapping necks, slamming chickens against the wall and stepping on em. Because ya know after awhile u get desensitized to the whole killing thing.why is that?
