Went to the store before daylight. Went around a corner swerved "was that a duck)!? Came back sure enough a single hen colored full ground duck standing on the side of the road. Odd. Wonder if it's injured. Never saw a single duck like that. Unless the rest were out of sight

Storm may have pushed her in further or something. I've shot a sea duck before a few miles inland from the ocean right after a storm.

We got some rain last night we needed it up here.

Glad everyone is ok and that it was not a real bad one.
We have received heavy rainfall all night and AM ..... we are on the northeast wall of this tropical storm(started before dark yesterday and still raining this morning).

Been raining here all day since last night sometime hasn't stopped and decently windy lots of fall leafs blowing around.

No Flooding, we have a pretty good runoff - about 25 miles north of the Florida line.
It stopped raining this AM and had a beautiful day. I just had to get out of bed 1:15 AM and it's raining again. It's just scattered thunderstorms for tonight.
