lol I like the peace and quiet I spent 4 1/2hrs out there this morning. And to beat all i come back after gutting him and in my driveway was a doe lol.

Yeah I hunt more than most. Actually a ridiculous amount of time. I enjoy the quiet, nature and all the other wildlife I see. I’ve had birds land on my knee, squirrels inches away from my head on the same tree I’m in. Gray fox running by, raccoons, jumped a woodcock, etc. Whenever I start getting frustrated with it. I slow down even more and try appreciate the whole deal and just being out there.

No I shot her with the compound. I’ve switched off a few times. Got a stand where it’s a little tight to draw the longbow without bumping the limbs. Hunting solely with the longbow from now on til I get it done.

Had a blue jay on my barrel this morning I enjoy the wildlife as well shows good signs for the initial hunt.

I’ve seen some dumb chit hunting too. Once a couple years ago I drove about 1.5 hrs for a hang and hunt. Dragged some deer piss behind me on the trail, set up two little orange scent bombs at my shooting lanes and got my stand set. 45 minutes later I hear a deer blow. I’m like you gotta be kidding me! Here comes this lady hiking down the trail (over a mile in public land) right on top of where I painstakingly dragged my stinky deer urine. I swear she stops right in front of me 25 yds away and sniffs the tinks scent bomb!!! Shakes her head like she was expecting apple pie!! Talk about a dumba**!

Need help figuring out what strain this rooster is? I believe him to be sweater

He is definitely a very nice American GameCock ..... what line he is only known by the breeder and anyone they told.
It is impossible for anyone to look at a chicken and tell us exactly how they are bred ..... anyone doing so and passing them off them (or any of their offspring) as such is a dishonest person.
He is a very nice looking rooster.

Just wanted to pop in and say I miss u all. Lol. Hope all is well and ur birds are good. Here are some of the birds on the farm. I also wanna thank u guys for steering me clear in the right direction and being blunt with me on how I come off to people as I have been tryin to work on that and have been very selective on what I keep now in terms of breeding.
