Show quality is different. They are either game or not.

So after the roosters fully mature they won’t fight with each other if there are no hens?

The roosters will always fight no matter what, even through wire/cloth/glass etc. Must be kept in separate pens.

Show quality has two meanings. Beauty shows... and the illegal shows. They are very different, and selection of fowl would be different.

wrong, Game Roosters will fight with each other with or without hens around.

No they will fight 100% of the time after they reach 6 months which is a ballpark number.

well, you and I have something in common! Really, in common with anyone wanting the perfect gamefowl. Ultimately it's up to you. What are you looking for exactly? Because everyone has their own reasons for wanting this breed. So will take a lot of research and then hoping you find an honest breeder that has what your looking for. I'm seeing birds advertised in the The Gamecock magazine from 200 to 1000 dollars for just ONE rooster. For me personally, I bought a good incubator and bought a set of eggs off of ebay. Even on there a dozen eggs can sell for over a 100! And there's no guarantee even one egg will hatch! And usually with shipped eggs you get less than half to hatch. But again, how much do you trust the seller? I was sold gray gamefowl eggs last spring and only half hatched were actually gray gamefowl. The others that hatched were reds. Just my personal findings.
