I'm afraid Im going to have to put some gears in the rearend of the silverado. Either that or a transfer case wish I had a lift. Ain't no play in the pinion and driveshaft but could be internal I'll have to pull the pumpkin and take a look see, it's grinds from the rear and it's not consistent it comes and goes and at maximum of 5secs does it mostly if I'm turning and have the chassis flexed or hit a bump sounds just like a starter sticking but from the rear. I've heard the crap rotor assist design parking brake lock for the shoes can cause a similar issue. I'll dig into it here after the holidays.

Ain't no play in the rear hubs. It'll even do it going down the driveway at 5-10mph and it's never done it over 45mph and once it's warm. Its a grind just like a stuck fully engaged starter on a flywheel you can feel it in the floorboard and it is loud.

Went out with the nj duck flarer this morning. When he’s not flaring every duck that comes by he’s passed out. Talk about enthusiasm!
