I’ve only heard a few crow. That’s not reliable. The good ones will kick you right in the eye through shell. Best to wear safety goggles when checking them.

if you want a guaranteed stag eggs you wrap the eggs in a kerosene soaked rag then put that in a paper sack. place the paper sack under the bathroom sink and leave it there till you forget about it.

Building another pen for my Welsummer Grey crosses. Had stag pens in here but decided these chicas needed a proper broodpen.
If it weren't for this rain I would've finished a good while ago.
