Also finished predator proofing this 600 sq ft. area for the current and upcoming juveniles. Watching them go at it and peck at everything puts me at rest....for now. Im gonna go have an alcoholic beverage, I'm beat.

Just checked a hen nest supposedly hatching tonight and the b*tch had killed everyone of them. She has done it before a couple years ago.

That was part of problem with pic of five above. Spurred hen killed two and dinged up another. I cannot tell if intentional. Pulled balance and placed them in brooder. She also had more than her share of busted eggs in last 3 days of incubation.
