It appears wheaton can have some degree of stripe on back and head. Thanks.
Centra it could be me or the lighting, but those chicks don't really look light enough for the wheaton pattern as chicks. I used to raise wheaton old english game bantams and the down would be almost white with some spots on the head and maybe a little color down the back. I have some wheaton colored chicks in the blues this spring. It is odd to see the white chick in with the darker ones when they first hatch.
 
Since we're on the Wheaton topic this chick is sorta wheaton isn't it? It's out of my white kelso pair unrelated Leonard Bryant cock over yellow legged hen unrelated line (unless I accidentally got an egg from my YL kelso over Gilmore hen egg and put it in bator, but I don't believe so). Could mature out of it correct and just show leakage once grown or? just curious not that it matters much.
