Gotta be real careful. I was setting up breeding pens but realized I left two doors open on empty pens. I put a pullet in. Then made sure I checked the nest box. One of my loose pullets found it and laid an egg in there. That’s why I double check everything. No mistakes.
 
I'm 99% sure it is from my WK pair and not my other I have slept since then though. As we have discussed I use a pencil a #2 when I collect eggs lol.
What’s with the 1% margin of error? You either pulled that egg from a pen with just that hen or you didn’t lol

It has been over 30 years since last time I had wheaton colored chicks as they were the product of a battle cross made using our hens bred to a gray toppy cock. I vaguely remember them being solid yellow with no pattern in down.

@SOHC-FTW, your pullet does look wheaton to me with something causing color to bleed in flight feathers that would otherwise appear black. I am guessing the white streamer color some Kelsos possess.
