Hmm. I’m pretty sure the birds have plenty with grasshoppers, ants, bees, beetles of all kinds etc.. don’t think I’d go out of my way to bring extra bugs to the yard for the purpose of feeding chickens. Seems awfully silly.

I like to hand feed each bird pellet by pellet to make sure they’re getting enough protein.

I’ll take some cookies. I’ve seen a pattern as well. You spend more time planning how to care for your birds instead of actually doing it.

Breakfast of champions. My boy's birds. Colors all over the place as F2's

from two lines where one I have very little handle on what they are. He is really getting into his raptor project where he going to change DNA of these to make dino's. Must remember he is only 6.

If you are talking about the chick in the center at the bottom, it reminds me a lot of the New Hampshire Red coloration chicks. I would be curious to see the adult.
