Don't matter if it's a truck, boat or Prius people like power on tap if needed not everyone is into it. My truck still does truck stuff and needs not the big tires and lifts to impress I just always like to tinker and have a bit more when I push the loud peddle than it originally came with.

Gm/Ford/dodge even made fast pickups from the 80s up to now. Doesn't mean it ain't useable in truck ways.
How is it useable? I really never understood the truck thing. Cars I get. Racing, older novas etc. trucks eh like I said it’s your money I don’t really care I just didn’t get it.
Same goes for all the dipshits that like to lift jeeps and trucks for the (sole purpose) of tearing up trails and blasting through mud holes. I get having a lifted vehicle, mud tires etc when you need them especially for people who actually spend time outdoors hunting, camping, fishing, hiking, birdwatching or whatever. To do all that shit to the vehicle just to parade around town makes people look like total dumbasses. I especially like the high lift jacks. Those are always a nice touch.

Like I've said before power sells look at how far useable power has came even with good fuel mileage. You surely wouldn't have bought your truck if it felt like it was tied to a stump.
Of course not. Your saying your truck stock felt like it was tied to a stump?

Take a factory truck same year as mine and just throw a tune in it get rid of the tq management in the trans bump the line psi up a bit and it's night and day especially pulling a hill or a load. You'd notice right away how much more useable power was locked away even on a factory car/truck as they put conservative tunes in vehicles.

Why conservative? Is there a risk of maxing out and damaging the vehicle beyond an affordable repair? Do you trust your vehicles after you’ve done all that to it way back miles into the woods with no cell service? If you don’t leave your town tinker all you want I’d rather not be stranded.

No lol my point is you liked the power obviously.
Actually my truck is a little underpowered. Everyone knows that Tacoma’s are. I like a smaller truck for a few reasons. I don’t want a minivan (4door) and it’s not as wide or long as a full size so it’s easier to fit down dirt roads and trails for hunting and fishing trips.

Things break but my trucks had 20k put on it since January I'd take it anywhere I'd take the Ford I honestly prefer it. And still will after it's tuned.

Ones in excellent condition an low mileage still exist just saying lol. Bout 4 years ago I worked on an 88 that was spotless and had only 28k on the clock real nice truck.
