Poor bastards ha. I could rip their legs off first before I dispatch em. They damn sure don’t give the lowly chicken the option. They’re lucky I’m more humane then they are. Lol

I got about 6 ft from a bobcat that was chasing a free range mama hen. I threw feed cup at it.
I saw two of what i thought were "kittens" on the side of a dirt road last year, stopped and was calling them over and I hear a loud growl. looked up and mamma bobcat was sitting in a tree 10 ft above my head looking straight at me. I was gone.

Thats awesome..

This is the first one I have ever seen... and it was running right at me as the was hen flying past my head. It looked young and lanky.. out during daytime (I dont know if that is normal)

I have seen 3, each time was during the day, each was a mamma cat. seen 3 different years. the first 2 sightings were like 15 years ago about 10 miles east of the most recent.

I heard a black bear cub was spotted a couple miles from me. let the fun begin lol

Bears can be hard on things once they learn to use them as a food source!

There was a news story a month or so ago about a grandmother who strangled a rabid bobcat. I think it came at her and her granddaughter. The article said she sustained broken bones in her hands and heavy scratches. She was one tough lady! She said she knew she couldn't let go of it.
