Would it do good with the mulch that's already in the pens? I like the mulch because it raises the ground level so it's not as wet
There is a saw mill down the road. I use wood chips and mulch to raise the ground level to keep them dry. The birds really work things over in the pens. I will add straw sometimes for the birds to scratch around in. They destroy it! Can't even tell it was there after a while.
 
It's rained all year here lol with maybe three day max break. Still pouring it down here at 37 degrees any day now it's gonna do something besides flurries an rain.

Let's say yal was only able to keep one rooster and one hen, don't have to be the same breed, and yal post a pic of both and say why you would keep them over all the other birds on your yard
 
The red quill stag and the Curtis Blackwell mclean hatch pullet. Both of them are calm smart birds never aggressive with me but both are alpha birds. I can't wait to see what becomes of them in the years to come
