I had a couple pics of one of the stags taken yesterday, I will see if she will send me a pic without filters lol (you know how these girls are now days with there filters)
One of the stags was getting very aggressive sexually and he had to be separated. the other is hanging out with the girls still.

going to have to keep an eye out for hawks I guess, never had issues with them before. heard a bunch of god awful squawking and flapping yesterday, come running around the corner and all the pullets were gone and the loose stag was standing in a ready stance in the woods watching a hawk fly off. everyone was fine, not a scratch

Owl issues are nothing. Check out my others issues. They are costing a lot of money.

Those otters are gonna clean you out quick. You need a couple 330, 280 or 220 bodygrip traps.

The otters can be snared on dry land too but you need a few extra swivels in the cable. They will roll, kink and break the cable otherwise.

We have accidently drowned them in fish traps. Real traps will be use over winter. Till then I am going to experiment with hotwire to see if I can keep them out. They come in every night for trout at one of my clients farms. They have been for years, but I am trying to confirm it for him now. Farmer insisted Otters not coming in because no see ums and no carcasses. Raccoons and vultures I think are steal them carcasses.

Currently my fish too small to interest otters but they clobbered about $4,000 in brood bass last spring. The $500 worth that survived produced all we needed.
