I was thinking in the $5.00 area, also, since they are not SQ or Delaware breeding quality. They could do some good in some one's flock, though, especially if they keep their good temperaments! I guess I can't worry about whether they end up getting eaten or not....

I did get a few pictures. I am uploading them, and that takes forever! I need to take some of my roos to the auction tomorrrow. They have one here, every Friday morning. I think I might do that!

Feed store errands today ....

I am trying some new feed. It has animal byproducts. It is ADM. Have any of you tried that? Price is about the same as the Purina line, maybe a dollar more a bag. I just thought I would try something different.

Great pictures, Scott! I just love looking at everyone's photos! I took a couple hundred pictures today .... LOL .... It takes so long to upload them on my slow server. Anyway, maybe tomorrow I can post some! Until then, here are a couple of the girls saying, "hello!"

Kathy LOL I have a couple like that..an EE, a Dominique and a Cochin! Not to mention my Dellie, Cannonball.


Okay time to rant...I am soooooooooooooo ticked off right now that it is quite possible my little cockerel Draco will be stew tomorrow night. First, the little sucker bit my hand reaching into the coop this morning so I pushed him back a little back with my hand and reached for the waterer and the sucker jumped on my arm and bit my hand...I smacked him lightly and left his butt in the coop, alone all day. So, I felt sorry for him and let him out to run for a few minutes before I put everyone back. He and Sirius decide to mess with Thor...Draco jumped onto Thor's back and took a bite out of my baby boy's comb (the back blade was ripped off

). Thor was fighting back and got a few good swipes in on Draco when I got between them and grabbed Thor up and came inside. Poor baby's beautiful comb is now messed up and I am ticked off!

The bleeding has stopped and started clotting, it did not bleed overly much but I had him in the house for a bit checking him and put blood stop on it just to make sure. I had taken 8 great pics of him relaxing on the island in the kitchen getting pats and in my upset I clicked delete instead of save and wiped them all out. So, I ran out and took these pics.

He is in a 4 x 4 tractor by himself and he is so sad. He keeps clucking for his girls and calling them...they are talking back to him and I want to choke Draco till his eye pop out!

I cannot go out there near Draco right now because I know I would wring his neck. *sigh* So, Draco has one week (or less depending on his attitude) to find a new home before Freezer Camp. I will not put up with it...now he has hurt my Thor, that alone almost got him killed.

Kathy I swear to all that is Holy that it is all I can do not to go kill him right this minute. If I was a bit meaner I would have left his butt out all night and let him take his chances or let Thor go ahead and hurt him in return, he was working on doing that when I scooped him up! I mean to tell you I was pisssssssssssssssed off...still am.

Poor sweet Thor does not understand why he cannot snuggle with his girls and they do not know why he is not in there with them. I wonder how long it will take to heal before he can go back in there with them? I do not want them away from each other too long.

Poor Tom, Cyn's DH, was not expecting me to call at 9:15 in the evening and say "Hi Tom, I need some help and instructions". Bless his heart, they are both so wonderful. Very thankful they call me a friend.

Scott, even your Sugar has more color than my Maxie does. Maxie has a beautiful head and straight nice comb, though. If I had more than I do, I could be pickier about my hens, but I didn't have enough to let more than just L'il Bit go at the time.
