Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Beautiful pens, Laney! You are so talented!

Love those pictures. Aren't those Dels camera hogs! They are so sweet, and just want to be the center of attention. Great pictures!

ETA: My grandpa's name was Ivan ! And, yes, he was terrible!

Nice pens all.... well update...Sirius of 4 Aussies have a new home to go to with the duckie coop, everything is ready for the birds' transport, Cheyenne's flight is ay 6 am..so I shall be leaving here around 3am to take her and are you ready for this....

went to the dentist this morning because the area where the wisdom tooth was removed was hurting like hello...turns out, it was not hurting but the molar next to it was. So, I said in my normal disgusted tone over teeth issues...rip it out! Well we had nice long healthy roots, 4 of them wrapped around and intruding in my sinuses....so, I come home, take a vicodin and go to bed...sleep for 4 hours and sit up and my world went haywire...then I am on my knees sick as a dog with blood pouring out of mouth, totally freaking cheyenne out and now, hours later, the bleeding has finally stopped and my face hurts, looks like I have a shiner and I am cranky. I have had ENOUGH...I still have my bedroom, some craft stuff, the pantry, master bath and odds n ends in the kitchen to pack AND I have got to take time out to do my taxes wednesday...

I am telling you I have had enough! But, Cannonball and Thor are always immediately handy to give you hugs.

Cetawin- hugs and prayers for you- I wish I could fly out there and help you- good grief! Enough is enough! Just throw the rest of it willy nilly in boxes and sort it out at this end!

Laney- that blue pen is just lovely- and the chickie pics are great. I think Ivan looks pretty darn good- hope he keeps improving! And I am glad your MIL is doing fine!

Kathy, I think you are right, yours and JamesA are the closest in age to mine- I could dig back and look, but this thread is getting loooooooooooooooong. Which is a GOOD thing.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day - Cetawin, may your pain disappear NOW!

Oh, honey, that's awful! I'm so sorry. Dang it all, I wish I was there to help you finish this packing. Maybe now, since the offending stuff is really gone, things will start easing off for you. Poor Cheyenne, I'm sure she was scared for you.

Back from the airport and going to nap for a bit...it is 30 degrees and damp and nasty so the babies are not going out until after 9 or so anyway. So, around 5pm Nashville time she will be landing and spending almost a week with her grandmother.

Cyn, she was crying and saying she was not going to get on the plane today. Poor girl, I scared her and it took awhile to convince her I was okay. she can be such a pain in the butt sometimes but she really is a good loving kid. I feel much better today just some pain and bleeding still but it has got to get better right?

See you Dellie lovers in a few hours.

Cheyenne loves you, Ladyhawke, and so she should! Hope your sleep helped you heal. Get a good cuddle with your babies, and you'll be ready for anything!

HEY!!!!!! A picture of my Eleanor and Jeanette got second place here on BYC in one of the photo contests- Dual Purpose breeds!!!!

Not really Delaware related, but I couldn't help myself. I just posted about the chicks I received from MMcM, they came in yesterday!

Still waiting, waiting, waiting on the incubator babies. I keep telling myself they'll get hatch eventually. Then I'll be so overrun with chicks I don't know what I'm going to do!

I got the first egg from my 22 1/2 week old Delawares today. Seems a bit later than usual, so I thought I'd put the data point out there.
