Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

I think you should too. His stories are amazing. So glad to hear all ended well and Thor saved the day. What a roo!!!!!

I'm so proud of him! And daddy Suede would be, too. The sons of Suede are usually awesome boys, but Thor has surpassed them all. He sure loves his mama--nobody messes with Mama in his presence! Suede has the best temperament and usually passes that on to his kids.

To keep some Delaware talk in here, LOL, I think Isaac would come to my defense. He and I are buds. I just love that big boy! Could not ask for a better rooster, except for Thor, of course!

You should write these in Pictures and Stories, too. That way more folks would read about our boy Thor. I don't know how many come to this thread unless they are specifically interested in Dels.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Not SEVERUS!!! I LOVE SEREVERUS! But BAD BOY attacking Cheyenne. Maybe it was just a momentary brain lapse and he will be back to his sweet self!

And YAY for Thor- start writing, Cetawin, I volunteer to proof read and edit, if you need someone!

Isaac would protect you Cyn, I really think he would!

Cyn...I think Issac would protect you and I also think Zane would do his best to protect you. I really wish I knew what was going through their rooster brain sometimes...They look at you and listen so intently to what you are saying....Thor seems to very interested in me and where I am at...but he is not all snuggly and cuddle me cuddle me type. I want to be able to get my hands on if I need to and work on him (nails, spurs, wounds if they occur) without freaking him out and such....and rub his wattles and comb while I have him.

Give Suede a pancake for me and tell him thanks for a great boy...and let Smoky have a bite too because she had a little something to do with Thor being here.

I sure hope Thor will pass on this temperament to his offspring.

Beth: Severus bit Cheyenne in the face a few weeks ago. We thought it was because they had stayed out later than normal and it was getting dark (heavy dusk lighting). She scooped him up to put him in the coop in the garage and he tagged her face (cheek). We thought she just startled him or scared him but now I am not so sure. But he will not go after me...never has. He should have yesterday. I was the one putting my hands on him and shoving him away...and chucking him around. But he chose to attack her and that is not cool in my book. His comb looks a mess this morning and he has one nasty bite mark on his head (which I have cleaned and put antibiotic ointment on) and he is lying low around Thor. Thor is watching him like a hawk, especially when I am outside with them. So I am not sure how this is gonna play out.

That is the funny thing Beth...it is ONLY with Cheyenne. He has never even looked like he would go after me or my husband. I was just out there rubbing his chest and patting his back!

It's raining, It's pouring! I am soooooo sick of this rain!!!!!!!!!! I am drenched, after going out and moving all the feeders inside to get them out of the rain. What a mess!

cetawin, How is the lovely feathered Miss Dolly Parton doing?

Maybe Cheyenne needs to pull out the lavender bubble bath?

Kathy- if she doesn't like my idea of Cosette the Cochin, then I am putting my vote in for Dolly Parton, also.

Beth...Chy is so upset she is not even considering reforming him. I am giving her a day or so to calm down and see what she wants to do...it is her boy and he is attacking her soooo I am letting her decide his fate UNLESS he steps out of line again.

She has decided to go with the name Hera. Blossom and hera were running close in the polls last night and she likes Hera so that is the name I do believe.
